There is a new Colorado Athletic Club at the 29th street mall located under Macy's. Really nice, new equipment along with an outdoor pool! :)

Flatirons Fitness club is very high-end, but pricey. 24-hour fitness in North Boulder is awesome because (obviously) the hours, the free classes as a member, and awesome staff, equipment, and fitness snacks/supplements. It also features a part-time child care facility. Pool, hot tub, fantastic showers.

the rec center under macys by the movie theatre parking lot looks very nice and is brand new

If you live in North boulder the 24 hour fitness is nice and the people are very friendly

An alternative to the fitness centers or CU's crowded rec is the city recenter.
