Question:
What does UCSU stand for? And what do they do on campus?
Answer(s):
The University of Colorado Student Union (UCSU) has changed their name to University of Colorado Student Government (CUSG) in an effort to increase awareness among the university community regarding their role.
CUSG is the student body government for the University of Colorado at Boulder. CUSG creates, implements and oversees a $30 million budget generated by student fees and other revenue for the operation of CUSG Cost Centers including the University Memorial Center (UMC), Wardenburg, and the Recreation Center. CUSG also serves as the liaison between the student body and university administration. Three branches, an executive, a legislative and a judicial are governed by the student-adopted Constitution.
