What are some advantages to joining CU's Herd? Is it worth it?

I don't think it's worth it - I joined freshman year and ended up just paying the fees and never attended any events. It could be worth it I guess if you attended but I didn't think they did a good job of getting info about events out there. The only thing I got out of it was a free t-shirt.

if youre really interested in the events and activities then maybe, but otherwise its just a waste of time and money

it looks good on your resume to have joined a club especially an alumni association
