If you're a beer drinker, I'd recommend either Mountain Sun on Pearl Street or Southern Sun, which is in the shopping center on the corner of Broadway and Table Mesa. They have two happy hours. Early goes from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00; late starts at 10:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.

The catacombs has cheap beer on tap. Not the best (PBR) but its cheap.
