There are free shows at Mackey. In October there are a few free
Orchestral-based concerts coming up. If you want to see their calendar of events head to their website at http://www.colorado.edu/macky/ Hope that helps.

One of the best free shows at Mackey is the annual jazz concert held on the Tuesday of the Conference on World Affairs. World class jazz musicians come back every year and jam together; it's magnificent. The conference is the first week in April.

Yes often. You can check the Buff Bulletin and they will let you know. There are more paid concerts than free. The conference on world affairs hosts a jazz concert every tuesday during the week in April. It is truly amazing.

You can also check out concerts at Grusin Hall, the School of Music's concert hall.
Most shows here are free and open to the public.
