can i study "abroad" in different US cities?

you can talk to the study abroad office.. they will point you in the right direction

no, but you can do exchanges for a semester or so. i don't think this counts as study abroad

No you can't there aren't any programs that let you spend a semester in another city

There really isn't anything that allows for this.
The study abroad program is more out of the country

It isn't exactly study abroad, but it is possible. For example going to another school like NYU for their spring semester program - you would just take a semester off, which is allowed, and come back. You can also do this for things like internships. You could also just say that you will be a part time student and take a couple classes online.
