Is goofy on a skateboard different than goofy on a snowboard?

No it is the same thing...however there is no such thing as mongo on a snowboard and there is mongo on a skateboard...little fun fact: No pro skater pushes mongo...so if you skateboard and your mongo people will probably make fun of you, same goes for longboarders.

No its the same thing, but a lot of people are different stances in longboarding and snowboarding. For example im a regular on a snowboard but goofy on a longboard.

your dominant stance will be the same on both skateboards and snowboards, but if you skate regular but have been skating switch, you may get confused and find yourself snowboarding goofy if you have never been up before.
