facebook has been updating it's gaming section as well as fixing some bugs in it's routine maintenance. it was down for me a while ago but just recently went back up.

"A database problem caused the service issues, which Facebook resolved only by turning off its site. Facebook explains: "The way to stop the feedback cycle was quite painful - we had to stop all traffic to this database cluster, which meant turning off the site."

facebook was down? did not hear that and im an avid user of facebook.

Sometimes facebook goes down because they do different maintenance things so just be patient
