nerf guns can be considered "weapons" because the launch projectiles, so they are careful about it

There's a strict anti-weapon policy on campus and you can get in trouble for firing any kind of projectiles. This came up with the Humans vs. Zombies thing that went on a few weeks ago - the campus police forbid using nerf guns but said it was okay to throw socks at people... although I'd much rather get hit by a piece of foam or a spray of water than some stranger's sock....
