It's usually smart to start studying a couple weeks ahead of time. A lot of tests can fall on the same day, so it's best to spread out your studying as best you can.

staying on top of work and paying attention all semester will let you relax a little come finals. i'd say 1.5 to 2 weeks. with a cramp sesh in the night before, always happens.

Definitely spread the work out. I failed to do this the beginning of this year and Im really feeling the consequences.

i procrastinate and instead spend the 1-2 weeks before finals intensely focusing on the work. for me working under pressure works, but i'd suggest 3-4 weeks in advance.
