There are many options I have looked into as well.
There is University Village Apartments at Bear Creek or the ones close to Folsom Stadium.
You can apply to stay at the same room you are at the moment in the residence hall, or apply to get a new one. Living on campus is a great option in my opinion. Yet, depending on your needs and wants make sure you read over the Housing&Dinning website for updates and deadlines to apply.

You can also find some friends/roommates and rent rooms at a house or apartment.

The cost is similar in most places.
