The Crowd Says...

A brief overview/introductory statement explaining what these articles/snippets are.

Coffee

coffee cup with frothy heart

Take a look at the feed of questions and it's easy to see: coffee and caffeine are a priority and necessity on and around the CU campus. Who does it the best? The votes are in for The Laughing Goat in Norlin Library. Fair trade coffee for the Boulder conscious and luscious lattes made with love make this convenient library cafe a hot spot for an afternoon of studying or a quick jolt between classes! Check out http://thelaughinggoat.com/ for more about this Resolving Door favorite.

Rides

Need a ride? The RTD bus system is fast, efficient, and unique to the metro area and a Resolving Door go-to for transportation and gettin' around town to all your favorite hot spots. Try the quick and easy BX, a nonstop Boulder to Denver route, or the BA "SkyRide", a straight shot to the airport, without having to hassle your friends for gas money. For a full list of routes and timetables, visit RTD's interactive website www.rtd-denver.com. Try the 'Trip Planner' link: they'll tell ya how to get from point A to point B using RTD!

Dorm Food

Our hungry dorm residents have spoken...and eaten: Sewall and Libby have the best dorm food on campus! Of the four different all-you-can-eat dining centers across main campus (check out the interactive map!) Libby's make-your-own-omelet and chef's station are tasty favorites in the wee hours, while Zeller's Convenient Store at Sewall is a one stop shop for snacks and goodies around the clock.

Best Happy Hour

Often strapped for cash but thirsty, the starving students at the Resolving Door head to The Med, our users' clear vote for best happy hour. Sip on dollar-off Sangria and enjoy half-price tapas from The Med's sprawling patio or bustling bar from 3:00-6:30 seven days-a-week. Visit www.themedboulder.com to get your mouth watering. For a worldly late-night fourth meal, try Hapa Sushi's late night happy hour from 10:00-midnight. With locations on both Pearl Street and the Hill, there's no better place to satisfy a sake/soy craving after hours. www.hapasushi.com

Printing on Campus

Got ink? Print those double-spaced, Times New Roman term papers at ease with helpful hints about the printing stations around campus liked by Resolving Door users. The print savvy prefer the Ink Spot in the UMC and the wireless printing services at the Libraries. Just make sure you have your Buff One Card: it might be convenient but it ain't free. Check out http://www.colorado.edu/cpi/remote/downloads.htm for info on how to print from YOUR computer. No more messy attachments!? What will the door swing open next?

iPhone vs. Android

The votes are in: Resolving Door users pick iPhones over Androids, despite AT&T's sketchy coverage on Buff game days, social holidays, an other network-heavy times. The iPhone's easy-to-use touchscreen let's you access resolvingdoor.com from the push of a browser, not to mention 'there's an app for that!', er, for everything. Jump on the band wagon. Seems there's a reason everything else is compared to it!

Buffing Up

Maybe it's the Colorado in us: CU students are active and always looking for a good sweat. The Recreation Center, sandwiched between Sewall and the football stadium in the center of campus, offers great facilities for students with ID's, faculty, and alumni. Whether it's a dip in the pool, a spin on the ice, or a climb on the elliptical machine after class, the Rec has state-of-the-art equipment and flexible hours leaving you no excuse to skip the gym! Check out the website http://www.colorado.edu/rec-center/ for hours and information.
