Yes. Off Campus Student Services (in the UMC) has a lawyer that you can talk to for cheap (it was free but I think they're charging like $10 now) that can help resolve housing/roommate disputes, and the Ombuds office (formerly in Willard, may have moved to the C4C) can help resolve just about anything, or help point you to resources.
It helps a LOT. Think about it. For every little piece of paper you recycle instead of throwing away, that's one less thing in a landfill. You are part of a larger group of people who are also reducing their waste. When your friends see you recycling and turning off the heat or the lights when you don't need them, they will start to do the same. It goes viral. Don't let the "it doesn't matter what I do, I'm only one person" attitude get you - because we're all only one person but together make a huge difference.
Oooh la la. Number one priority - lose fat! Even if you don't think you're chubby, start jogging. When your fat melts away it'll expose your muscles and show what you've got to work with. No amount of situps are going to get rid of your fat - only prolonged increased activity (walking, jogging, running, etc) is going to do that. Once you've got a flat stomach all those crunches will start to show.
Ew. Totally neither. They are pretty much the same exact thing. Pack a lunch or go somewhere like Noodles and Co where you can get more than saturated fat to eat.
It's hard to pick a favorite because it depends on what I'm feeling like, but I can pretty much always count on Hoegaarden or Twisted Pine's Raspberry Wheat to put a smile on my face. I also really like Boulder Beer's Bourbon-barrel aged Vanilla Porter and Planet Porter.
Depends. I only use it for free weights and resistance training, but not for cardio. There's only a few stair steppers in there which are usually occupied, so if it's too cold to run outside I'm either the track or on an exercise bike in the co-ed area. I think a lot of girls feel more comfortable working out with their own gender, because a lot of meathead guys at the gym are kind of intimidating, and many women don't exactly like being oogled. Also, Muslim girls can take off their scarves in the women's locker room, so they can work out more comfortably that way.
I've heard it was lower than that - more like 30%. Last year there was an article in the CODaily about the depressingly low turnout.
A conversation hour (with tea, made in an authentic Russian samovar) for Russian students and native Russians, usually held Wednesday from 12-1pm in Macky.
WAAAAYYY too much. If you're poor you can apply for a fee waiver and get free prep materials.
I've never been to Fix, but I like Salon Sabiha on Pearl. They're an Aveda salon and have great products. I pay about $40 for my haircuts there, but if you go for the first time it's only $11 if you have someone in training cut your hair.
